Meet Kristen

I’m no stranger…

Hi, I’m Kristen. For over a decade, I’ve worked in the faith based organizations and ministry trenches right alongside you.

I know the daily grind of fielding phone calls and emails, creating project plans, streamlining workflows, and processing sacrament paperwork. I also know the chaos of late-night bonanzas filled with messy games and sleep-deprived laughter. Over the years, I have worn the titles of Church Connection Specialist, Director and Coordinator for Middle School, High School, and Young Adult Ministries, as well as Parish Communications and Administrative Assistant.

Here’s a little more about my experience.

Every moment has been a gift. I’ve had the privilege of connecting churches of all denominations and leading interdenominational adult bible studies. As a Catholic professional, I’ve walked alongside teenagers trying to find where they fit, and young adults braving the “adulting” world. I’ve collaborated with volunteers who generously said yes to the next generation, prayed with parents, and locked arms with fellow ministers.

As the communication command center for my parishes, I have brought together news, events, and ministries through website management, streamlined workflows, and social media. I am always the one carrying a notebook, ready to capture insights for prayer, staff adjustments, or new content. (And yes, I have usually been the designated tech support during big events, too!)

Why Of Becoming coaching?

Working in these capacities has given me a front-row seat to the unique challenges of professional Catholic Christian life. Over time, a few heavy realities became clear:

  • A Lack of Equipping: Most professionals (especially in youth and young adult ministry) step into their roles without formal training or coaching.
  • Office Friction: Communication breakdowns are incredibly common, leading to unnecessary burnout.
  • The Forgotten Leader: In our zeal to evangelize, it is easy to forget the human value of the person sitting behind the desk. Yes, you.

When I stepped away from the front lines of church ministry, the Lord shifted my vision. I realized I wanted to turn my attention from being the minister to supporting the Catholic leaders. He instilled a burning desire in me to bring the profound truths of the Theology of the Body into the everyday workplace, creating a true culture of life and care for those working professionally for the Kingdom.

Of Becoming coaching was born out of that desire. I’m here to serve you.
